By feet From the train station, the museum can be reached in about 20 minutes by following the roads inside the Porto Vecchio or in about 25 minutes by following Viale Miramare. By bus:

• bus n.6 from the train station runs along Viale Miramare, get off at “Cavalcavia” stop (line active all year round);
• bus n.36 from the train station runs along Viale Miramare, get off at “Cavalcavia” stop (line active during summer season);
• bus n.20 from the train station runs through Porto Vecchio, get off at “Porto vivo” stop (service operates during winter season);
• bus n.19 from the train station runs through Porto Vecchio, get off at “Porto vivo” stop (service operates during summer season).

By car:  Take the A4 (E70) motorway towards Trieste. Exit at Trieste–Lisert / Monfalcone-Lisert and continue along the SS202 (Grande Viabilità Triestina) towards the city center. Once you reach the port area, follow the signs for Porto Vecchio. The museum is a 5-minute drive from the train station.
